VASCAN is a specialised ultrasound service focussed on the diagnostic investigation of all vascular medical and surgical pathology. Our dedicated team of fully accredited Vascular Ultrasonographers offer the most exceptional skills to deliver an accurate result, upon which doctors and patients alike can dependably rely.
All diagnostic investigations have the added benefit of being closely overseen, reviewed and reported by Consultant Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon, Dr Andrew Cartmill. This allows each scan to be independently tailored to the patient’s presenting issue, providing the most useful information to help resolve the specific clinical situation. Should the referring doctor require any clarification or further information, Dr Cartmill is extremely approachable and always keen to discuss any case personally.
Our extensive complement of diagnostic investigations are all completely bulk billed, and are offered to both inpatients and outpatients at our 2 locations of St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital in Brisbane, and the Mater Hospital in Rockhampton.
